Trainer Erik Ledin has spent the last ten years helping fitness physique competitors, athletes, and enthusiasts achieve their fitness goals. Through his company, Lean Bodies Consulting, Erik has provided individualized bodybuilding, fitness, and nutrition programs to hundreds of clients, tailored to their specific goals, needs, dietary preferences, and lifestyles. He doesn’t believe in being the expensive trainer that just counts off repetitions, and instead finds reward in truly helping people learn how to take control of their bodies and realize their long-term fitness goals.
Erik Ledin began his career while at McMaster University, consulting for local bodybuilding competitors. Upon earning his Bachelors of Kinesiology and Bachelors of Education from the University of Windsor, Erik worked as a head nutritionist and strength/conditioning specialist for MuscleTech Research & Development/Iovate Health Sciences. He also trained two cast members for WE tv’s Bridezilla, and trained 19 of the 52 state pageant winers for the 2006 Mrs. America national competition.
Erik earned his certification as a Personal Trainer (CPT) and a Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from the National Strength & Conditioning Association. Additionally, he is also a Certified Kinesiologist from the Ontario Kinesiology Association (OKA), as well as a Certified Sports Nutritionist from the International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN). Erik Ledin is a regularly attendee of the national conferences for NSCA and ISSN. He enjoys converting his education in body science into real life results and measurable success.
